Online Booking is available for scheduled services running between Horseshoe Bay / Sunset Marina to
Bowyer Island, Halkett Bay, Long Bay, Sea Ranch / Artaban and intermediate docks as well as Center Bay, West Bay and Gambier Harbour.   

All other bookings, including Keats Island, Anvil Island, Pasley Island or Sunshine Coast and charters please call our dispatch on (604) 250-2630

Service Area

 

Our five water taxis provide both scheduled and charter service throughout the area as well as BC Ambulance service with the Bowen Responder (see our fleet). We operate year round with a capacity of 1 to 100 passengers.

Transport is provided to:

  • Recreational properties

  • Church camps

  • Island residents

  • Construction crews and freight

  • Film Production

  • Weddings

  • Hikers

  • Tours

  • Emergency and essential services:

    • Personal

    • Ambulance

    • B C  Hydro

    • Coast  Guard
      (Auxiliary Member since 1980)

    • RCMP

    • Bowen Island Volunteer Fire and Rescue

    • Marine Assistance

 

When you call to reserve, other schedule options may be suggested. Quite often there will be additional departures on weekdays as well as weekends.

Travel with someone who knows these waters. We've been running the Cormorant Water Taxi service in Howe Sound since 1978. Our home port is Snug Cove on Bowen Island, BC. Points of departure throughout Howe Sound include:

  • Horseshoe Bay

  • Sunset Marina

  • Lions Bay

  • Gambier Harbour

  • and of course, Snug Cove on Bowen Island
